Atlanta Partner Alison Grounds Selected to Receive Monica Bay STEM Leadership Award
Atlanta partner Alison Grounds has been selected by the Monica Bay STEM Leadership Committee to receive the group’s first Monica Bay STEM Leadership Award, which will be presented in Las Vegas at the International Legal Technology Association conference on September 2.
“We are pleased to announce the first winner of the Monica Bay STEM Leadership Award,” Gail Gottehrer, Chair of the Monica Bay STEM Leadership Committee stated. “The award was created to recognize the significant contributions Monica Bay has made to the legal, technology and literary communities in her career to date. Monica has inspired many people to reach outside their comfort zones and supported them in those efforts. We are thrilled that Alison Grounds is the first recipient of this award. Like Monica, Alison is a leader and a role model for women in STEM. We look forward to honoring Monica and Alison at the ILTA Conference.”
Monica Bay is a lawyer, journalist and analyst, and worked at ALM where she was the editor-in-chief of Law Technology News for 17 years.
