Alison Grounds will be participating in the upcoming DRI Intellectual Property Litigation seminar which will take place in Chicago next Thursday, May 7th and Friday, May 8th. Alison’s presentation is on Thursday afternoon. The focus of the seminar will include timely, need-to-know topics for every IP practitioner and litigator, such as proving and disputing damages in a patent case and how to use e-discovery effectively.
Trade secrets will be examined, including how to establish, protect, and defend them capably. Attendees will also get an insider's view on the passage of the AIA, as well as an update on the latest IP-related holdings from the U.S. Supreme Court, including the Limelight, Alice, and Nautilus decisions, and their implications. For those who have cross-border clients, the recent changes in Canadian trademark law will also be examined.
