Goliath vs. Goliath: Apple and Samsung’s patent battle rages on
Richmond partner Megan Rahman appeared in a May 29 Lexblog Network interview titled “Court Allows Apple to Push for Ban on Samsung Tablets,” where she recaps a recent decision handed down by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in regards to the ongoing patent battle between the two technology giants.
Introducing the interview, Lexblog stated: “At one point … District Court Judge Lucy Koh held up an Apple iPad and a Samsung Galaxy tablet, and asked Samsung’s counsel to identify which was which. They could not. Though irrelevant to how each party did before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, this anecdote tells you enough about where Apple stands in this dispute - and following a recent ruling allowing them to push for a ban on sales for Samsung Galaxy tablets - as this case heads towards trial.”
The case also garnered a mention in a May 29 JD Supra article.
