How a Georgia Company Emerged as a ‘Major Opponent’ to CFPB
Troutman Sanders Strategies is mentioned in an April 18 National Law Journal article for its lobbying work for Total Systems Services, the parent company of prepaid card provider Netspend. Netspend is becoming a major CFPB opponent according to the article, in which the company’s chief executive predicts that the CFPB’s proposed final rules for the prepaid card industry will cost the company between $80-$85 million in fee revenue.
