New York office expanded by six attorneys in June
The addition of a Life Sciences IP quartet from McDermott Will & Emery LLP in early June, followed by the addition of a patent trio from the same firm later in the month, garnered press on Law360.
A June 12 article on the four patent attorneys to serve in Troutman Sanders intellectual property practice in New York – partners Joseph Robinson and Robert Schaffer, of counsel Heather Morehouse Ettinger and associate Phoenix Pak – quoted New York managing partner Rori Cassirer stating: “This group greatly enhances our intellectual property experience in New York and joins an already strong IP team here.” She added, “This also is the latest sign of Troutman Sanders’ desire to expand in the nation’s leading legal market.”
A June 26 article touting the addition of the McDermott patent trio of partner Louis DelJuidice, of counsel Hiroyuki Yasuda and patent agent Nicole Sullivan quoted Cassirer again, “The addition of Lou DelJuidice and his intellectual property team marks another significant boost to our New York office and the firm’s nationwide IP practice. In the span of just over a month, we have added six outstanding IP attorneys here.”
Details about the six attorneys’ legal careers can be read in a June 11 press release and a June 25 press release.
