Three Troutman Sanders Partners to Speak at National Privacy Conferences
The Troutman Sanders Privacy & Data Security Team is pleased that three of its partners are scheduled to speak on privacy issues at upcoming national conferences.
Richmond partner Ashley Taylor will be a panelist at the National Advanced Forum on Litigation and Enforcement Preparedness for Data Privacy & Information Security in Dallas, which will be held June 3-4. The panel, which will occur June 3, is titled “Emerging State Enforcement Activities and Investigations and the Growing Authority of the State Attorney Generals.”
John Hutchins, a partner in the Atlanta office, will be a speaker at the 11th Annual Privacy and Data Security Law Institute in Chicago on July 19. His session’s title is “State Law: Defining the Duty to Secure Personal Data,” and will focus on trends in state privacy and security litigation.
Washington, D.C., partner Stacey McGraw will be a panelist at the American Conference Institute’s 4th National Advanced Forum on Cyber & Data Risk Insurance in New York, which will be held September 27-28. The panel, which will occur September 27, is titled “Assessing What a Breach and a Resulting Claim is Really Worth.”
