Troutman Sanders Advises The Brink’s Company on $600M Senior Notes Offering
ATLANTA – October 25, 2017 – Troutman Sanders LLP announced today that it advised The Brink’s Company (NYSE:BCO) in its 10-year senior unsecured notes offering. The notes were offered in accordance with Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act of 1933. The transaction, which totaled $600 million, successfully closed October 20, 2017.
The Brink’s Company is the world’s premiere provider of cash management, secure logistics and security solutions including cash-in-transit, ATM services, cash management services, international transportation of valuables, and payment services. Customers include financial institutions, retailers, government agencies (including central banks), mints, jewelers and other commercial operations.
According to a press release, “Proceeds from the notes and the credit facility are expected to be used to repay certain existing indebtedness and certain fees and expenses related to the closing of the transactions. Remaining net proceeds are expected to be used for working capital needs, capital expenditures, acquisitions and other general corporate purposes.”
