Troutman Sanders Advises Tullow Oil plc on £607 Million Rights Issue
ATLANTA, May 4, 2017 -- Troutman Sanders LLP announced today that it advised UK-based Tullow Oil plc (Tullow), a multinational oil and gas exploration and production company with a focus on Africa, in its £607 million ($750 million) rights issue that fully closed on April 27, 2017.
The rights issue was fully underwritten by Barclays Bank PLC and J.P. Morgan Securities plc, acting as joint global coordinators, joint sponsors and joint bookrunners, Morgan Stanley acting as joint bookrunner, and BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole CIB and Société Générale acting as co-bookrunners.
