Troutman Sanders Client Tribute Pharmaceuticals Canada, Inc. Awarded Pharmaceutical Deal of the Year
Washington, D.C. – Dec. 7, 2016 – Troutman Sanders LLP announced today that its client Tribute Pharmaceuticals Canada, Inc. has been named the Pharma & Devices Deal winner in the 8 th Annual Americas M&A Atlas Awards, sponsored by Global M&A Network. The awards honor excellence from the North and South Americas mid-market segments.
Tribute Pharmaceuticals was recognized for its transaction with Pozen, Inc. The U.S. tax inversion transaction resulted in the creation of Aralez Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a global specialty pharmaceutical company with operations in Canada, Ireland, and the United States and was accompanied by an infusion of US$350 million of new capital in the form of equity, debt and a credit line from a number of leading U.S. and foreign pharmaceutical industry investors.

Troutman Sanders was also named U.S.A Small to Mid Markets M&A Law Firm of The Year at the M&A Atlas Awards.
