Troutman Sanders Partner Elected as a Fellow of the American College of Environmental Lawyers
ATLANTA – Troutman Sanders LLP is pleased to announce that Atlanta partner Margaret Claiborne Campbell was elected as a 2014 Fellow of the American College of Environmental Lawyers. She was chosen – along with 24 others – for her “distinguished experience and high standards in the practice of environmental law” and was inducted into the College at its Annual Meeting, which was held October 16-18.
“The twenty-five lawyers elected to the College this year again include top environmental lawyers in government service, academia, the NGO community and private practice,” American College of Environmental Lawyers President Seth Jaffe of Foley Hoag said. “These individuals, chosen by their peers, have earned this recognition based on achievements over a minimum 15 year period. Their presence highlights the strength of our profession and enhances the ACOEL’s ability to further its mission. The College is honored to have this distinguished class join its ranks.”
For over twenty years, Margaret Campbell’s practice has focused primarily on Clean Air policy, compliance, permitting, and enforcement defense for energy and manufacturing clients. In addition to being a leader in her field, she has also served in numerous leadership positions at Troutman Sanders, including the firm’s Executive Committee and co-chair of the Environmental & Natural Resources Practice Group.
