Troutman Sanders Wins M&A Atlas Global Deal of the Year Award for ARRIS Acquisition
ATLANTA – Troutman Sanders LLP has received a Global Deal of the Year award from Global M&A Network for its representation of ARRIS International in its $800 million acquisition of Ruckus Wireless and ICX Switch. The transaction, which closed Dec. 1, 2017, strengthened ARRIS’s leadership in the converged wired and wireless networking technology space.
Specifically, Troutman Sanders won the Global Deal of the Year award in the mid-market category for transactions between $750 million and $1 billion. The award recognizes growth-generating transactions that significantly impact their industries and international operations of the acquiring company. Troutman Sanders partners Tyler Dempsey (corporate), Brink Dickerson (corporate), Robert Friedman (tax) and Jeff Banish (benefits) advised ARRIS on the award-winning deal.
Troutman Sanders, along with fellow honorees, was recognized at the 10th Annual M&A Atlas Awards Gala on June 6 in New York.
