Troutman Sanders Wins Relativity Fest Innovation Award for Best Law Firm Solution
ATLANTA – Troutman Sanders LLP is pleased to announce that its eMerge team won the Innovation Award for Best Law Firm Solution for its custom development work at Relativity Fest held in Chicago last week. Relativity is the leading software platform for eDiscovery – used by 99 of the AM Law 100 law firms and hundreds of vendors.
In its first year, the annual Relativity Fest Innovation Awards were designed by kCura, the developers of Relativity, “to showcase the best solutions created by [Relativity] customers … recogniz[ing] groups who have created workflows, applications, and integrations that streamline their internal processes, increase productivity, and positively impact business strategy.” Judges looked for nominations that highlighted a client’s: use of various application integration points to develop a cost-effective workflow, displayed a full use of the API’s capability to streamline processes, solved complex workflow needs, and created an altogether new non-review solution. Customers were honored in two categories — Best Law Firm Solution, which Troutman Sanders’ eMerge won, and Best Service Provider Solution.
Troutman Sanders’ eMerge’s innovation improves visualization and reporting of the eDiscovery process to help clients understand the value they receive from using eMerge. The firm’s development team was led by Chris Haley – eMerge’s Director of Technology – and included a diverse committee of eMerge team members and dedicated in-house custom developers. eMerge is led by managing director and Atlanta partner Alison Grounds.
This award is further proof that eMerge is leading the legal industry in providing customized end-to-end electronic discovery services to its clients. eMerge’s unique combination of lawyers and technologists working together to leverage technology to reduce cost and burdens associated with eDiscovery allows for integrated service, reduced risks, and improved outcomes. Last month, Troutman Sanders eMerge group was listed as the top firm in the “Best E-discovery Company – National” category of The Daily Report’s Best of 2014 supplement. Of note is that the group jumped three spots this year to rank “gold” – the best out of three; last year, eMerge was not even officially on the ballot but received so many “write-in” nominations that the paper was compelled to add it to the list.
