Troutman Sanders Wins Turnaround Atlas Award for Boohoo Acquisition Advising
ATLANTA – Troutman Sanders LLP has received a Turnaround Atlas Award - Cross Border Special Situation M&A Deal of the Year (transactions under $50 million) for its representation of Boohoo, a UK-based online fashion retailer, in its $20 million acquisition of Nasty Gal, a Los Angeles, California-based retailer through a bankruptcy sale process.
The award recognizes the best value-creating, in or out of court, restructuring of entities that must survive in part or per core operations. Partners Harris Winsberg (Financial Restructuring and Insolvency) and Austin Padgett (Intellectual Property) advised Boohoo on the award-winning deal.
Troutman Sanders, along with fellow honorees, was recognized at the 10th Annual M&A Atlas Awards Gala on July 19 in New York.
