Troutman Sanders gets ink on Law360
Troutman Sanders attorneys Bryan Haynes and Neil O’Brien made headlines in Law360 in January.
Richmond partner Haynes appeared on Law360 with the publication of his January 10 article, “ The Split on FDA Requirement of Graphic Smoking Warnings,” which takes a look at the reasons why the Sixth Circuit “concluded that the Tobacco Control Act’s graphic warnings were reasonably related to advancing greater awareness of smoking’s health risks,” vs. the D.C. Circuit’s conclusion “that the graphic warning labels violated the First Amendment.”
O’Brien appeared in Law360 as the publication was touting his recent addition to the firm’s stable of lawyers, “ Troutman Snags Fannie Mae GC for Housing Practice.” O’Brien, formerly a Fannie Mae associate general counsel, joined Troutman Sanders’ Multifamily Housing practice on January 7 as a partner in the firm’s Richmond office. “I’m excited to be on board,” he said. “I’m looking forward to bringing my Fannie Mae expertise to the firm and its lender clients.” He had worked at Fannie Mae for 14 years.
