Why Didn't You Fight Back?’ And Other Questions That Keep Male Sexual Harassment Victims Silent.
Associate Evan Gibbs is quoted in a March 9 Buzzfeed story titled, “‘Why Didn't You Fight Back?’ And Other Questions That Keep Male Sexual Harassment Victims Silent.” The story points out that until just 20 years ago, federal law did not accept that men could be harassed by other men, and it shares several men’s stories of sexual harassment. Gibbs, who has written before on the subject in his Above the Law column, is quoted, saying, “You don't need to be a lawyer to understand sexual harassment is wrong. And if employees feel like something that obvious is being ignored then, yeah, employees are going to think if they aren't going to comply with this obvious law, then they'll skimp on other areas as well.”
