Bernice Cilley is experienced in commercial real estate, specializing in the multifamily housing industry, including lender representation in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and conduit lending programs. Her experience also includes regional and strip shopping center leasing, office leasing, construction and permanent lending, commercial real estate foreclosures, workouts and financings and the disposition of REO property by auction.

Representative Matters

  • Represent Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lenders closing pools of loans to various affiliates of Apartment Investment and Management Company (AIMCO).
  • Represented in the year-end closing of a pool of 14 loans secured by projects in 8 states; committed, documented and funded in a two-week time frame.
  • Represented in 3 Fannie Mae bond credit enhancement transactions totaling $66MM, financing affordable housing projects in Southern California.
  • Represented in closing a pool of 9 Maryland IDOT transactions.
  • Coordinated multiple lender/servicer approval and documentation on a 32-property, $241,000,000.00 joint venture transaction.
