Brea Croteau is an associate in Troutman Sanders’ Business Litigation practice. Her practice includes representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of civil litigation matters including breach of contract, property rights litigation, business torts, fraud and misrepresentation claims, products liability, and personal injury actions. Brea also represents corporations and individuals in federal and state regulatory investigations and enforcement suits.

Brea graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law in 2016. While at Georgia State, Brea was a member of the Georgia State Moot Court Board, where her team won the Best Brief Award at 2015 Georgia Intrastate Moot Court Competition. Brea’s team was also a finalist at that competition. She was also a member of the Georgia State University Law Review, where she served as associate articles editor. During law school, Brea served as a legal extern for the Major Crimes section of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia. Upon graduation from Georgia State University College of Law, Brea was invited to join the Order of the Coif, a legal honor society that extends invitations to students graduating in the top 10% of their class from member law schools.

Prior to attending law school, Brea graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Political Science.
