Gabriel Ozel is an attorney in the Financial Services Litigation practice, whose practice includes the representation of clients in consumer law, business disputes, and commercial litigation in both federal and state court.

Prior to joining the firm, Gabriel was a senior litigator with a national law firm where he handled a variety of consumer finance matters, including actions brought under California’s Homeowners Bill of Rights, Unfair Competition Law, FDCPA, FCRA, as well as title disputes.

Gabriel is from Toronto, Canada, and prior to attending law school, he worked in the jewelry industry in New York City. As an undergraduate, he was a member of the baseball team at Lyon College.

  • Defended national banking firm in mortgage litigation case. Successfully dismissed case on motion for summary judgment.
  • Successfully first chaired an evidentiary hearing for national banking institution in federal court.
  • Defended national banking institution in mortgage servicing case in state court. Successfully dismissed case with prejudice at summary judgment and successfully defended case on appeal.
  • Member of team representing national banking institution in jury trial in case involving various tort claims. Successful at trial and on appeal.
