Gary Dixon specialized in litigation and insurance matters for more than 35 years and was experienced in matters pertaining to directors and officers liability insurance and other forms of professional liability coverage. He represented insurers in thousands of matters pertaining to professional liability insurance, including many of their highest profile and most significant matters. Gary litigated cases on behalf of insurers in trial and appellate courts throughout the U.S. He counseled insurance clients regularly with respect to claims and underwriting matters. He lectured and wrote articles about directors and officers liability insurance issues and exposures faced by directors and officers.
Gary represented insurers in connection with more than 750 securities class actions and hundreds of derivative actions, merger lawsuits, and ERISA stock drop suits. Gary represented insurers in dozens of mediations each year. He also represented insurers in matters involving employment discrimination, antitrust, health care, criminal and regulatory investigations, and coverage litigation.
