Our fully integrated legal team effectively and efficiently addresses the many complex legal issues associated with an infrastructure project, privatization, divestiture, acquisition, financing or ongoing management.

  • Represented the Government of Guyana in the development of the Amaila Falls Hydropower Project in western Guyana. The 165MW capacity project includes a new 270 kilometer transmission line and substations near Georgetown, Guyana's capital. The planned project will replace the current diesel and heavy fuel oil generation units.
  • Provided counsel to an independent power company in various acquisition, development and financing transactions for natural gas, hydroelectric and coal-fired projects in the United States and other countries.
  • Provided counsel to the U.S. equity investor in a sale-leaseback of seven hydroelectric-generating facilities located in Austria.
