Administrative Measures on Registration of Import and Export Technology Contracts 《技术进出口合同登记管理办法》

Released on February 1, 2009 and effective on March 1, 2009

On February 1, 2009, the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) issued Administrative Measures on Registration of Import and Export Technology Contracts, which took effect on March 1, 2009.  The contracts to which these measures refer include those which fall under such categories as Patent Rights Transfers, Intellectual Property Licenses and Technology Services.  Affected importers and exporters must register such contracts with MOFCOM within 60 days after the contracts are effective.
