Affordable Housing Attys See High Demand for Services
Dameon Rivers, a partner with Troutman Pepper's Multifamily Housing Finance Practice Group, is quoted in the Law360 article, " Affordable Housing Attys See High Demand for Services."
"There is sort of an undercurrent of a lot of movement in the housing world, and people are doubling down on affordable," said Troutman Pepper partner Dameon Rivers, who joined the firm's multifamily housing finance practice group in March from Ballard Spahr LLP.
Troutman Pepper has "started to see that affordable is becoming a big focus … and it made sense for me to move my practice here to leverage the resources," Rivers added.

Yet Rivers of Troutman Pepper said he expects more creativity in deal making, not waning interest.
The need for affordable housing has gotten "enough traction and enough publicity" that "I think people will try to find a way to make these deals continue to work, notwithstanding all the economic factors," Rivers said.
