Four Troutman Pepper Attorneys to Participate in Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Programs
NEW YORK – Troutman Pepper Partner Thao Le has been selected for the 2021 Fellows Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), and Associates Kevin Coleman, Thomas Cordova and Anne-Marie Dao have been named to LCLD’s 2021 Class of Pathfinders. LCLD seeks to create a more diverse and inclusive legal profession with more than 350 members, including corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners.
“Troutman Pepper has been a proud member of LCLD for more than a decade,” said Troutman Pepper Managing Partner Tom Cole. “The partners and associates who have participated in the Fellows and Pathfinder programs have learned innovative ideas and skills to better serve our clients and progress in their careers. We congratulate everyone selected for the 2021 programs.”
Le, a partner in Troutman Pepper’s Corporate Practice Group, will participate in the landmark Fellows Program, which LCLD created to identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. Le focuses her practice on private equity funds, investment transactions and mergers and acquisitions, and on representing companies on general corporate matters
Coleman, Cordova, and Dao will participate in LCLD’s Pathfinder Program, which trains high-performing, early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies, including leadership and the building of professional networks.
Coleman’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private capital raises, strategic investments and bank regulatory matters. Cordova focuses his practice on white collar criminal defense and related government and internal investigations. Dao focuses her practice on intellectual property, complex commercial, class action, and privacy (compliance and litigation) matters.
Troutman Pepper has been involved with the LCLD since the organization was founded in 2009 and most recently was recognized as an LCLD “2020 Top Performer” for being among the top 20 percent of organizations based on participation in LCLD programs and activities.
The firm participates in several LCLD programs, including its Fellows, Alumni, Pathfinder and 1L Scholars programs. Troutman Pepper also serves as the city-lead for Philadelphia area law schools as part of LCLD’s Success in Law School Mentoring Program, which pairs practicing attorney mentors from LCLD member organizations with first year law students from diverse backgrounds.
