Samrah Mahmoud Recognized Among Nominees for Los Angeles Times Inspirational Women Awards
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. – Samrah Mahmoud, a partner in Troutman Pepper’s Orange County Office, was recently profiled in the Los Angeles Times Inspirational Women Magazine as a nominee for the publication’s Inspirational Women Awards 2022. The awards recognize female business leaders who have demonstrated noteworthy success and accomplishments during the last 24 months.
At Troutman Pepper, Mahmoud is a commercial litigator who has successfully defended clients in both state and federal court, including at trial and on appeal. Her practice focuses on litigating on behalf of healthcare companies and representing insurers in coverage and bad faith lawsuits. Mahmoud also routinely defends companies against consumer class actions that involve a variety of claims including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act, and California’s Unfair Competition law. The publication also noted Mahmoud’s significant involvement in her community and at her former law school as well as her pro bono efforts.
