Troutman Pepper Attorneys Co-Author Chapter on International Litigation Management in Recently Updated Book

NEW YORK – Troutman Pepper Partner Aurora Cassirer and Associate Daniel Gorman contributed to a recently updated edition of Practising Law Institute’s International Corporate Practice: A Practitioner’s Guide to Global Success. Cassirer and Gorman, attorneys in the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group, co-authored a chapter about International Litigation Management.

The book provides guidance on building a comprehensive global legal department, including advice on structuring, staffing, and budgeting, as well as the use of foreign legal consultants and outsourcing.

Cassirer is an experienced business litigation attorney and has had substantial experience in securities fraud class actions, breach of contract, qui tam, fraud, and privacy actions. She also has extensive international experience, having represented clients based in Israel, Korea, India, and China in disputes before U.S. courts or in arbitrations. Gorman has represented clients in commercial litigation and business disputes, including breach of contract, restrictive covenants, unfair competition, fraud, federal securities, employment, and discrimination.

In addition to her work for the firm, Cassirer serves as co-chair of the International Corporate Compliance Committee of the New York State Bar Association. She frequently lectures and writes on cybersecurity issues, securities litigation against pharma and medical device companies, whistle-blower claims, internal investigations and attorney-client privilege issues.
