Troutman Pepper Counsels Classic City Bank in Georgia’s First De Novo Bank Application of 2020
ATLANTA – Troutman Pepper advised Classic City Bank in acquiring regulatory approval from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and Georgia Department of Banking and Finance to open the first new community bank in Athens, Georgia since 2005. The de novo bank application is Georgia’s first in 2020. The firm has advised in every de novo bank application filed in the state for the last decade.
