NEW YORK – Cloudnexa, Inc., a client in Troutman Pepper’s SEED Program, was recently acquired by NHN Global, Inc., a technology company that cultivates valuable platforms and experiences with solutions, services, and tools that connect people, businesses, and ideas to advance industries. Read a company press release about the acquisition.
Cloudnexa is an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Premier Consulting Partner and a certified AWS Managed Services Provider and is well-known for its expertise in new migrations and modernizations of AWS environments. The acquisition will allow Cloudnexa to provide its clients with expanded end-to-end cloud services through access to NHN Global’s worldwide network of affiliates, resources, and established capabilities.
Cloudnexa became involved in the SEED program in 2014. The program’s holistic approach combines the resources of an experienced, multidisciplinary team into an affordable package for startups and early-stage companies that are accepted into the program. It provides young companies with legal counsel, mentoring, relationship building opportunities, and more.
“The SEED Program provides an innovative, affordable solution for young companies looking to grow,” said Troutman Pepper Partner Tom Dwyer. “We see potential in companies like Cloudnexa and provide practical, cost-effective advice to those who need it most, to help guide those companies to grow and be as successful as possible.”
Cloudnexa is also a client of Troutman Pepper’s Technology Practice Group, built on the firm’s core experience in technology-related subject matter. The group advises a variety of companies for which technology is their business, and for which technology is critical to their business. Troutman Pepper attorneys offer clients practical, tailored guidance on a wide array of technology matters, from app development, to SaaS, to blockchain technology, and more.
A multidisciplinary team of Troutman Pepper corporate, benefits, intellectual property, tax, and cybersecurity, information governance, and privacy attorneys, led by Tom Dwyer and Dan Sieck, advised Cloudnexa through the acquisition, and provided guidance on several of the company’s growth efforts.
