Troutman Sanders eMerge Goes International with RelativityOne Offering
ATLANTA — Troutman Sanders eMerge has added a RelativityOne instance in Western Europe to its existing RelativityOne instance in the United States. The new RelativityOne instance will be based exclusively in the Netherlands on the secure Microsoft Azure cloud.
Troutman Sanders eMerge’s expanded use of the SaaS product internationally highlights the growing demand for flexible, cloud-based software solutions that can effectively handle the growing data requirements of customers around the globe. With RelativityOne availability in both the U.S. and Western Europe, Troutman Sanders eMerge will be able to seamlessly handle cross-border e-discovery matters in a secure and efficient manner.
“We founded eMerge to meet our clients’ needs for an integrated service provider offering end-to-end legal advocacy, technology, and managed review services for eDiscovery. Adding an eMerge RelativityOne instance for processing and hosting data in the EU is the next step in that integration and continues our client-focused approach to eDiscovery solutions,” said Alison Grounds, founder and managing director of eMerge. “Expanding our infrastructure into Europe allows us to help our clients reduce the volume of data needing to be transferred to the U.S. for their legal matters – which is a key aspect of balancing the competing compliance obligations of international privacy regimes and U.S.-discovery obligations.”
The expansion of Troutman Sanders eMerge’s RelativityOne offering further extends the longtime partnership between the two companies and highlights eMerge’s commitment to providing a performant and scalable e-discovery solution to its clients – wherever they might be. Troutman Sanders eMerge plans to leverage its expertise on the platform with its unique market knowledge to provide custom solutions and expert workflows that leverage the flexibility of the cloud-based platform.
“Over the past 18 months RelativityOne has significantly reduced the effort required to manage our Relativity infrastructure while increasing the reliability, performance, and security of our services,” said Chris Haley, Troutman Sanders eMerge, Director of Legal Technology. “With the addition of an instance in Western Europe, RelativityOne will help us bring Relativity with all of our unique customizations, templates, and workflows directly to our clients who have data in the EU.”
“It’s exciting to see our storied partnership with Troutman Sanders eMerge grow in new ways,” said Steve Couling, Managing Director and VP Sales EMEA at Relativity. “We look forward to see how they leverage the power of RelativityOne to provide nuanced solutions to the unique e-discovery needs of EMEA.”
