Troutman Sanders’ Intellectual Property practice is comprised of more than 80 attorneys, patent agents and other intellectual property professionals, including over 20 with advanced degrees. Our first-chair intellectual property litigators — a number of whom have advanced degrees in relevant scientific disciplines — represent clients in cutting-edge disputes involving patents, domain names and software piracy. Our attorneys pursue and defend claims in federal and state trial and appellate courts throughout the country. We also actively represent clients before quasi-judicial agencies such as the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
