John Lynch devotes his practice to civil litigation and government enforcement matters primarily in the banking and consumer financial services industry. Mr. Lynch has a national practice defending class actions, conducting trials, and handling appeals.

Experience

Consumer Financial Services Industry - Mr. Lynch defends clients in individual and class action matters under state and federal laws including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”), the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (“RESPA”), the Fair Housing Act (“FHA”), the Truth and Lending Act (“TILA”), and the Fair Debt Collections Practicing Act (“FDCPA”), and state and federal Fair and Deceptive Practices Act, and other statutes and bankruptcy laws. Mr. Lynch also handles financial services litigation involving payment processing, vendor disputes and purchase agreements.

Intellectual Property - Mr. Lynch litigates patent and trademark cases.

Commercial Litigation - Mr. Lynch handles litigation involving commercial disputes, non-competition and non-solicitation, and executive disputes.

Trial and Appeals - Mr. Lynch has first chair jury and bench trial experience and has successfully argued appeals in numerous federal circuit and state supreme courts.
