Meghan works with clients on energy regulatory and adjudicatory matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). With care and efficiency, she provides clients with strategic legal counsel and advocacy on the federal regulation of electricity, natural gas, and hydropower.

Meghan’s versatile practice includes representing major electric utilities, transmission companies, natural gas companies, and hydropower licensees in FERC proceedings. She routinely advises clients on federal ratemaking and certificate proceedings, investigation and compliance matters, and administrative litigation. She also helps navigate businesses through FERC hydropower licensing proceedings. Meghan apprises clients on federal policy changes and rulemaking initiatives affecting business practices and regulatory compliance. Possessing a wide range of knowledge on FERC regulatory issues, Meghan assists clients in advancing their regulatory and financial interests.

Meghan is actively involved in the D.C. community, particularly through her work with the Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts, a local non-profit organization that provides access to education, advocacy and legal services for artists and cultural organizations. Her pro bono work involves working with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), a non-profit organization that provides immigrant and refugee children with high quality legal representation in immigration court proceedings.
