Miles Kiger represents clients in the energy industry before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, focusing on vertically integrated electric utilities, organized wholesale electric markets, and utility mergers and acquisitions. His practice includes counseling on OATT compliance and generator interconnections, RTO market policy and tariff disputes, and complex FPA section 203 approvals.

Miles draws on his experience at FERC, where he advised the Commission on a wide assortment of energy market and electric rate proceedings in both the Office of the General Counsel and Office of Energy Market Regulation.

Miles also has significant cost-of-service ratemaking and administrative litigation experience as a senior analyst, having prepared and testified in support of retail rate cases for American Water Co. and EPCOR Water prior to law school.
