Miriam Archibong is an associate in Troutman Sanders LLP’s Energy practice group, where she focuses on advising and representing clients on a variety of energy regulatory matters.

Prior to joining Troutman Sanders, Miriam served as a law clerk to the Honorable Raymond A. Jackson in the Eastern District of Virginia. Miriam formerly served as a Fulbright research fellow in Singapore, where she studied the country’s education policy changes. Miriam also interned with the White House Office of Public Engagement and the White House Council on Environmental Quality. Miriam was also a Teach For America high school history teacher in Atlanta, Georgia.

Miriam graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she served as the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law & Public Affairs, and interned in the Philadelphia Law Department’s Legislation and Appeals Unit. Miriam received an Ed. M in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. At Spelman College, Miriam served as student government association president and graduated phi beta kappa and magna cum laude with a B.A. in political science and a minor in philosophy.
