Pepper Center Fellow
Becky is a fellow of The Pepper Center for Public Service. The Pepper Center draws on the talents of the firm's retired partners and senior attorneys to wrestle with tough problems facing our communities. Through the Center, these attorneys study, analyze, and work to resolve problems that affect the lives of people in our communities.
Becky has more than 35 years of civil litigation experience at both the trial and appellate court levels. Prior to her retirement, she specialized in complex litigation and has handled a wide variety of cases, including insurance coverage issues, commercial litigation disputes, constitutional claims, employment discrimination cases and insurance bad faith claims. Becky also provided extensive counseling to insurance companies, including advice on the drafting of policies and exclusions.
Becky achieved a large number of victories, both at the trial level and on appeal. Ranked by Chambers USA for eight consecutive years, Becky was described as "extremely personable and very tough." Chambers noted that "she is the smartest attorney that we work with – she's brilliant on strategy and can take a look at a situation and take the long-term objectives into the management of the case."
