Wendy is certified in Civil Trial Law by the State Bar of Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has more than 20 years of litigation experience.

She utilizes her knowledge of civil procedure to assist trial teams across the firm from the initial evaluation of new cases through litigation inception to final case resolution. Early in litigation cases and throughout trial, Wendy’s keen knowledge of federal, state, local and judge-specific requirements help the trial teams to focus on the law, while she assures compliance with the rules.

Wendy also assists attorneys across all practice areas, conducting open-source intelligence (OSINT), developing facts relevant to client concerns, and conducting due diligence to evaluate financial status and litigation history of potential adversaries in lawsuits. She uses her investigative skills to locate witnesses, conduct initial witness interviews, and perform background checks before deposition.

  • Participated in multi-office document reviews and production, seeking release of a client’s manufacturing products seized by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.
  • Successfully identified incidents of trademark infringement, providing evidence used by the firm’s attorneys in securing injunctive relief for a nationally ranked sports trading card company.
  • Served as liaison between Pacific Rim client’s executives residing in the United States, and local professional service providers to assist in execution of documents for corporate transactions.
  • Provided in-depth analysis of claims associated with independent contractor audits, resulting in favorable outcomes for the client.
