Washington Lawyer Front Page Features Troutman Sanders D.C. Partners
WASHINGTON – Jan. 9, 2017 – Troutman Sanders partner Anne Dailey is one several Troutman Sanders D.C. lawyers, families and friends featured on the front page of the January edition of Washington Lawyer. The issue focuses on wellness initiatives and includes a profile on an annual charity race, Lawyers Have Heart 10K, 5K and fun run.
The annual race, which began in 1991, has generates thousands of dollars for the American Heart Association (AHA). For Dailey the race is personal. "I suffered a stroke in 2014 and was paralyzed on my left side. I was lucky and recovered quickly," she said.
During therapy Dailey set her sights on running and hasn’t looked back. She now runs regularly and in 2015 took on a role on the executive leadership team of Lawyers Have Heart. This past June the race netted more than $750,000 for AHA. And in 2017 race organizers say they expect 6,000 lawyers and friends to participate, making it one of the largest 10K’s on the East Coast.
