EPA Defends New Greenhouse Gas Limits At DC Circ.
Troutman Sanders is named in a Dec. 16 Law360 article for its representation of industry groups challenging the EPA’s new standards, which cap emissions from new coal-fired power plants at 1,400 pounds of carbon dioxide per megawatt-hour of electricity, and emissions from new and reconstructed gas-fired plants at 1,000 pounds of carbon dioxide per megawatt-hour. In December the EPA urged the D.C. circuit to uphold the rule, saying the limits were reasonably determined and feasible.
