Litigating Coverage for Personal and Advertising Injury in the Twenty-First Century
Chicago of counsel Milind Parekh had his co-authored article – “ Litigating Coverage for Personal and Advertising Injury in the Twenty-First Century” – published March 12 on dri’s The Voice.
The article provides a brief history of the origin and development of personal and advertising injury coverage under commercial general liability policies, also known as Coverage B, including the significant changes that have been made to the coverage forms over the years. The article then focuses on the key coverage issues implicated under Coverage B by privacy claims arising under consumer protection statutes, data breach claims and cybertort claims.
