Two Bankruptcy Attorneys Joins Troutman Sanders’ New York Office
New York –October 20, 2010 - The law firm of Troutman Sanders LLP is pleased to announce the addition of John P. Campo as a partner and John S. Kinzey as senior counsel to its Bankruptcy practice group, bolstering the presence of this group firm-wide and particularly in New York.

Both come to Troutman Sanders from Gibbons P.C., where they practiced in the firm’s Financial Restructuring & Creditors’ Rights group. Previous to that, both were partners at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, now known as Dewey & LeBoeuf.
Campo has extensive experience representing debtors, trustees, creditors, equity holders, and other parties-in-interest in both Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court workouts in various industries. He has been involved in many large and complex Chapter 11 proceedings in the country and has served as an operating Chapter 11 trustee in cases in both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
A member of the American Bar Association (Business Law Section), the New York City Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association (Business Bankruptcy Committee), the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association, Campo has published various bankruptcy-related materials and has lectured on bankruptcy matters.
Campo received a B.A. in 1976 from State University of New York at Stony Brook where he graduated with honors, and a J.D. in 1980 from University of Miami where he graduated cum laude.
Kinzey has extensive experience in representing debtors, trustees, secured lenders, and other parties-in-interest in both Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court workouts. He has been involved in significant bankruptcies and reorganizations in the retail, healthcare, real estate, apparel, telecommunications and entertainment industries. Kinzey is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
Kinzey received a B.S. in chemical engineering from University of Virginia in 1971, and a J.D. from Harvard University in 1974.
