Buck Dixon is an Associate in the Environmental and Natural Resources Section. Buck’s practice focuses on advising clients with respect to regulatory compliance and enforcement defense, including construction, permitting and siting, under the Pipeline Safety Act, the Natural Gas Act, and applicable environmental laws. He also advises clients on regulatory and enforcement matters under the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, the Endangered Species Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, and their state counterparts. Additionally, Buck assists clients in navigating federal and state rulemaking processes by helping them prepare comments to proposed rules and judicially challenge final rules. Buck’s clients include oil and natural gas pipeline companies and electric utilities.

Before joining Troutman Sanders, Buck was an Analyst for the Georgia House of Representatives Budget and Research Office. There, he specialized in natural resources and environmental policy.
