All successful companies must develop the ability to efficiently navigate, and anticipate, laws and regulations promulgated by the federal government, the fifty states, and numerous local governments.

The Government and Regulatory practice counsels clients in a wide range of legal and public policy matters, including litigation and administrative appeals; telecommunications; healthcare and insurance regulation; government procurement and contracting; licensing and permitting; legislative strategy; regulatory rulemaking; state and local taxation; government ethics and political campaign finance law; and zoning and land use. We also advise clients on investigations and litigation initiated by two groups that have become increasingly active: the State Attorneys General and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

The practice group’s membership is comprised of several former public officials with extensive contacts at all levels of government.
