Mitch represented lenders and borrowers, in a wide variety of financing transactions, including secured and unsecured single lender, club and syndicated commercial lending, asset-based lending, asset securitizations, real estate financing, mezzanine financing, debtor-in-possession financing, trust indentures, private banking transactions, and workouts, ranging from straightforward transactions several million dollars in size to sophisticated transactions involving hundreds of millions of dollars or more. Mitch also lectured on guaranty and related suretyship issues.
Mitch had more than 20 years' experience in counseling clients, within the United States and elsewhere, regarding the United States Hart-Scott-Rodino antitrust premerger notification requirements, including both the evaluation of applicability and any resulting compliance obligations. Mitch also participated in the analysis and compliance applicable to premerger notification in jurisdictions outside the United States.
Mitch had considerable experience in general corporate matters, including legal opinion issues.
