Jeremy's global practice covers the full range of commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on antitrust and international matters.
Jeremy helps clients in cross-border litigation and international arbitration, with a particular focus on representing French clients. He has participated in matters in France, England, Isle of Man, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, India, Singapore, British Virgin Islands, and Mauritius. Jeremy has handled international arbitrations under most major institutional rules, including The London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the International Court of Arbitration (ICC), and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR). Jeremy is the co-chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's International Law Committee and president of the French-American Chamber of Commerce (Philadelphia Chapter).
He has also been involved in several of the nation's leading antitrust litigation matters, including class actions. Jeremy routinely writes and speaks on antitrust issues, conducts training for clients nationally and internationally, and provides counseling on pricing and distribution issues. Beginning in mid-March 2020, Jeremy has been one of the leading members of the firm's COVID-19 Response Team, advising firm clients across the U.S. on litigation matters arising from the pandemic.
Previously, Jeremy was a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), where he briefed and argued a number of cases in the Third, Sixth and Ninth Circuits. After leaving the DOJ, Jeremy spent two and a half years in Central Africa, managing a technical assistance program and providing advice on constitutional and electoral law reform as the director of the International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES) program in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Jeremy has been described in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business as "impressive trial counsel" and in The Legal 500 United States as a "respected practitioner" who provides "thoughtful and thorough analysis of legal issues."
Jeremy also has served in the U.S. Peace Corps, as a high school teacher and environmental education volunteer, a spokesperson for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Superfund program and an elections supervisor in Bosnia.
