Vincent J. Pisano Joins Troutman Sanders’ New York Office
New York – SEPTEMBER 21, 2011 - The law firm of Troutman Sanders LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Vincent J. Pisano as a partner to its Corporate practice group in New York.
Pisano comes to Troutman Sanders from K&L Gates, where he was a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Securities groups. He was previously an attorney at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom.
“Vince is an outstanding addition to our Corporate practice,” said Aurora Cassirer, managing partner of the firm’s New York office. “He will give us a strong presence in the capital markets area, where he has vast experience.”
Pisano focuses his practice on securities and mergers and acquisitions matters. He has significant experience representing corporations and investment banks in their public and private offerings, U.S. and international transactions, initial public offerings, high yield debt offerings, special product development and leveraged buyout and other acquisition financings. He also serves as a general securities law and corporate governance advisor to a variety of public companies and investment banks.
Pisano is the chair of the underwriting subcommittee of the securities committee of the International Bar Association and is a member of the Securities Regulation Committee of the New York City Bar Association. He also is involved in the community as a member of the board of directors of The Stratton Family Fund and a former board member of the Make a Wish Society of Metro New York.
Pisano received a B.A. from Vassar College in 1975 and a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 1978, where he graduated magna cum laude.
