Piepgrass said some of the best resolutions involve the adoption of best practices built into the settlement agreement.
"It's in all of our best interests to ultimately stop the threat actors," he said, adding that state attorneys general "do understand how the industry is evolving and work with businesses to make sure best practices are implemented."
