Leaders Urge Women to Be 'Flexible and Organic' to Succeed
Atlanta partner Alison Grounds was mentioned in an October 29 Daily Report article for speaking at the Daily Report’s recent seminar, “Women in Law: Making Rain, Climbing the Ladder and Forging Your Path,” which was held at 103 West in Atlanta.
The article noted that Alison carved out her career by developing and becoming the managing director of eMerge, the firm’s wholly owned subsidiary that provides legal and technical solutions for e-discovery.
“I started to see that this could be a profit center but I made sure my internal clients - the other attorneys - believed in me and saw the value of what I was doing for their clients,” Alison said. “And the firm had to realize I wasn’t doing the traditional things or benchmarks that a litigation partner does but that I was adding value to every case and every litigation team.”
