New Lawyers in Charlotte and New York
Michael Tomlinson and Jeffrey Weitzman, who joined the firm’s real estate practice and are based in our Charlotte and New York offices, respectively, were mentioned in a July 12 American Lawyer article about lateral moves within the legal industry. Michael focuses his real estate practice on representing a variety of real estate investors in their acquisition, financing and disposition of retail, office, and industrial properties. He also represents various retail, office, multi-family and industrial developers in joint ventures, leasing, acquisitions, sales and financing transactions.
Jeffrey Weitzman’s addition to the firm’s real estate practice in New York City as a partner was mentioned in a July 10 Capital Public Law Report article and a July 17 New York Law Journal article. Jeffrey represents clients in acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and lending transactions involving warehouse/distribution properties, single and multi-tenant office buildings, shopping centers and apartments. He also has represented clients in connection with the acquisition, disposition and financing of resort hotels.
