Pepper Hamilton Represents LF-RB Group in Agreement with RiceBran Technologies
Pepper Hamilton LLP announced that the law firm represented LF-RB Group, as the group of investors negotiated with RiceBran Technologies (RIBT) to appoint its own nominees to the company’s board of directors.
Following a vote at the Annual Meeting on June 22 and extensive negotiations between the LF-RB Group and the incumbent Board, the LF-RB Group entered into a settlement agreement where it will appoint three of RiceBran Technologies’ seven directors:
- Chairman of Board of Directors Brent Rosenthal
- Board members Beth Bronner and Ari Gendason
In addition, a member of LF-RB Group is joining RiceBran’s senior management team. LF-RB Group holds approximately 9 percent of the company’s outstanding common stock.
