Pepper Hamilton Wins Three M&A Advisor Awards
The M&A Advisor announced the winners of the 14th Annual M&A Advisor Awards on Tuesday, November 17, at the 2015 M&A Advisor Awards Gala to a jubilant crowd at the New York Athletic Club, New York, NY.
Pepper Hamilton LLP, a multipractice law firm that has advised on more than 60 M&A transactions in 2015, picked up three awards at the event, which recognizes the leading dealmakers, firms and transactions of the last year. The firm received the "Financial Services Deal of the Year (from $10mm to $100mm)" award for the acquisition of NCB Management Services, Inc. by NCB Employee Stock Ownership Trust; the "Restructuring Deal of the Year (Over $1 Billion)" award for the Chapter 9 Reorganization of The City of Detroit, Michigan; and the "Cross-Border Deal of the Year (Over $100mm to $250mm)" award for the combination of Northern Lights Capital Group and Treasury Group Limited.
Since 2002, The M&A Advisor has been honoring the leading M&A transactions, companies and dealmakers. Pepper was chosen from more than 690 participating firms and companies to receive these awards. The M&A Advisor is the preeminent organization for recognizing excellence, presenting thought leadership and facilitating connections among the world's leading dealmaking professionals.
Earlier this year, The M&A Advisor honored Pepper Hamilton's work on the Detroit reorganization with the "Restructuring of the Year (Over $5 Billion)" award at its 9th Annual M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards.
