Richmond Partner Selected to Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s 2014 Class of 'Influential Women of Virginia'
RICHMOND – Troutman Sanders LLP is pleased to announce that partner Megan Conway Rahman has been named to Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s 2014 class of “Influential Women of Virginia.” Rahman, a partner in the firm’s White Collar and Government Investigations practice, provides advice and support to individuals and corporations across the country responding to regulatory, civil and criminal investigations brought by governmental agencies.
Rahman was among a group of several female executives selected for this year’s class. Those honored are in a variety of fields, including law, business, health care, education and the arts. According to Virginia Lawyers Weekly, those being honored are “individuals who are making notable contributions to their chosen professions, their communities and society at large.”
As part of her practice, Rahman also works with clients facing litigation and handling disputes in matters involving patent, trademark and copyright infringement. She provides ongoing analysis and commentary on developments in intellectual property law, with a focus on Virginia, through Troutman Sanders’ Virginia IP Law blog.
Honorees will be celebrated at a gala on May 22 at the Hilton Richmond Hotel in Henrico, Va. Each honoree will be profiled in a special publication that will be distributed at the event and inserted into Virginia Lawyers Weekly in May.
